The rule we apply: a test is only recommended when the result would change what we do — the choice of a medicine, the pace of screening, or a referral to a specialist.
A note on tests
PMG does not sell tests as products.
You cannot buy a genetic test from PMG the way you might from a direct-to-consumer company. If a test would meaningfully change your care, your PMG physician explains why, orders it, interprets the result with you, documents the outcome in your record, and — with your permission — shares it with the physicians you choose.

Do I need to leave my current doctor?
No. Most PMG patients keep the local doctor they already see. PMG adds a virtual precision primary care physician to your team and coordinates with your established local physician whenever you choose.
Which states do you serve?
PMG physicians are licensed across all 50 states, and you are matched with a physician licensed where you are. Your coordinator confirms availability on your first call.
Does PMG work with Medicare?
PMG is designed with Medicare beneficiaries in mind. Coverage depends on your specific plan, so a coordinator will review the details with you before anything begins.
What if I'm not confident with video calls?
Your coordinator sets the visit up with you in advance, can call to walk you through it, and can stay on the line at the start of the visit if that would help.
Will I be sold tests?
No. PMG does not sell tests as products. A test is only recommended when the result would change your care, and your physician explains why beforehand.
How do I get my results?
Results appear in your Patient Portal with a physician's interpretation and a clear next step. If action is needed, someone from the care team calls you.
Can my family be involved?
Yes, when you authorise it. Adult children and caregivers can be given portal access and included in visits with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Is my information private?
Yes. Care is delivered in HIPAA-aligned systems, and nothing is shared with another clinician without your permission. You can see a log of what has been shared.
